Wow, great job Nancy! I like the kinesthetic approach you used to teach your grammar activity. It looks like the students enjoyed it as well. Many beginner and elementary-level students have problems with using the correct word order in sentences, but activities like this will be very useful for them to improve their grammar.

I also thought your organized your video very well--and clearly--which is important, and the grammar is definitely relevant towards your target students. You also asked good CCQs--which is something that would be needed during this type of activity. Overall, I thought it was a great video.

Fantastic activity! I love how you used a kinaesthetic approach to teaching your students word order.

  •   Accuracy - although it was a bit difficult to hear at times, from what I understood everything presented in the video was accurate.

  •   Completeness - your activity itself was very complete. You gave good instructions, asked appropriate CCQs, and then worked with your students to ensure they were successful in the activity.

  •   Organization - the organization of your video is clear. You have a nice beginning introduction, explanation of the grammar point, the activity itself, and a concluding thought.

  •   Relevance - beginner level students definitely struggle with proper word order. I think this activity met the needs of your students and helped to reiterate the importance proper word order has with grammatically correct spoken and written sentences.
