Hey Declann....Nice video man!

I also like the 'wrong answer' quiz game e.g. T - 'London is the capital of France'; Ss - 'No, PARIS is the capital of France'.

Hope all is well at XJH!

Hi Declann,

Good video. I have am goig to try something like this in a lesson later this week. Thanks for the inspiration!

I like your teachng style. You engage the students well and encourage them to try and praise them when they succeed.

Hi Dex. Was this part of a regular class, or a special thing just on sentence stress? Great activities mate. You could see the students at the end really got the concept.

Great presentation Declann! I especially liked that you included how to respond to the questions. This is a good strategy to check learners' understanding of the inferred meaning, as well as encourage learners to actively listen to one another. The activities you used can easily be integrated into EF materials. For example, your first drilling activity can be easily added to f2f or workshops, you can drill as a class then learners can drill in pairs.

In the diploma phonology interview the examiner may ask you about how you can support learners in remembering this and practicing this after the lesson. You might want to consider what technology is available to help learners review.
