Comment by Andon Dansberger on December 10, 2012 at 10:55am It's far harder to be distracted, either with internal dialogue or things like social media (like I just read in Ross' blog actually), when your whole body is engaged is the exercise. I was taught some people tend toward kinesthetic learning but it seems to be used less with adults than it should be. I try to incorporate it into every lesson; even if its just having the students stand up to switch partners or share ideas between groups.
