In my presentation, my aim was to practice counting syllables by playing my own version of “Making Tracks” by Mark Hancock.

A very good video for younger learners and I will definitely take note of this for upcoming lessons.  Great to see the involvement and excitement of the students and the teacher being involved in the game as well as we often tend to distance ourselves to observe more than participate in the activity.

Hi Rainbow,

Thank you for letting us watch your video. In your video you mentioned:"Learners are likely to add additional syllables" that I totally agree with since Chinese is more like a monosyllabic language and it would be very hard for our students to switch their mind when saying English sentences.

Moreover, I could see these kids really enjoyed your game and felt very comfortable! The atmosphere was very active and lovely! I like how you did the reflection on the activity in your video since it gave you more ideas to get better prepared for your activity trial next time. I should've done it in my video!
