Nice video, Caroline! The color coded board work enhanced the grammar point as well as the depth of understanding. I've tried putting two fingers together to demonstate the weak form 'there's' 'there're'. Have a try! :)
Thanks for posting your video. I like how you corrected the pronunciation of “lamps” very subtly near the beginning and your board work is a great model for other teachers.
Have you ever taught elementary learners “there’s” instead of “there is”? I wonder if this would make the weak form of “is” pronunciation easier for the students?
