What do a whiteboard and a dining table have in common?

A dining table should be well ordered; a plate in the middle, spoon at the top, knife on the right, fork on the left.  Any waiter worth his salt will keep your table that way throughout the meal. 

A whiteboard should be the same. Students should know where to find different items of language, notes which are no longer relevant should be cleared away and your students shouldn’t get a headache trying to figure out what the lesson was about when they look at a photo of the board later…
