I survived the 6 month mark

Sooo.. it's almost 7 months that I've been here in China and it's longer than I expected I'd be. I am really proud that I survived the changes in my life and took on the new adventure with a positive mind.So far I have visited Thailand, Bangkok and Phuket and I have visited Wuyi and Hangzhou. I have many more adventures on my list.

Anyone have a good VPN recommendation?  I am shopping around for VPNS and the best ones seem to be Astril, Express VPN, TorVPN, Purevpn, I don't mind paying for one because the free ones are not that great..

Hi everyone

Nice to meet you!

My name's Charlotte, I'm 28 and from the UK.  I applied to teach Kids and Teens with EF back in January and was accepted to teach in a place called Fuzhou (near Taiwan) starting 3rd May. Obviously that date has passed - hence the blog title- and I was just wondering how many other people are in a similar situation wherein their arrival date has been postponed.

Can anyone recommend a VPN that charges you in GBP not USD? Everything I can find is in USD, if I use one of these I'll be charged for a currency conversion.

Heading out to Hangzhou

Hello everyone :) 

I'm heading out to Hangzhou in mid-late June and was wondering if anyone else was heading out there or who is there already. Also looking for tips on what to take out. Just to introduce myself I am from the UK and I have a BA in archaeology from Cardiff, UK and then studied for an MA in World Heritage Studies in Cottbus, Germany where I also taught English as a foreign language.
