Teaching is unusual in that it is usually a closed doors profession. Observing lets us open closed doors and breaks down barriers. It’s a fantastic way to learn from and with our peers.
What to do next?
Find a colleague who you’d like to observe or be observed by.
Pick a time when one of you doesn’t have class and the other does.
Decide with your colleague what you want aspect of the lesson you want to observe.
Watch the lesson or part of it and have a chat afterwards.
Record what you learned in your Development Diary.
