Hi guys!  My name is Kimberly and I will be moving to Shanghai in August.  I am looking to rent an apartment with roommates.  If anyone will be arriving around that time, you can email at kgoff900@gmail.com

Hey Alex and Tyler, I'll be arriving in Beijing the same time and looking for a flat share. I think my school is in Zhong Guan Cun but imagine it doesn't make that much of a difference where your apartment is given public transport (?). Anyway I'll wait to hear what EF's advice is but hopefully see you both there!

I'd love to keep it to <3500 myself, but I could go a bit higher if the quality was worth it. EF should have some recommended realtors for us but these sites have good classfieds for housing:

http://www.thebeijinger.com/

http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/

http://www.echinacities.com/

http://beijing.craigslist.com.cn/

In general, I've heard these sites are a little high on rent as they tend to cater to foreigners, who are presumed to be a bit more well off.  2-3 bedrooms seem to be the price sweet spot from what I've seen.

Hi Tyler that sounds a good place ha just googled it my budget is <4000rmb/month. Could anyone recommend any websites to find accommodation in Beijing?

Hey Alexander and other soon to be Beijingers.  I'll be arriving next week as well and would love to meet up with anyone looking to share a flat. I'm thinking east side chaoyang area.

I'm moving to the Haidian district of Beijing in the beginning of May. Possibly have a roommate already who will be working in the central area, and would like a third.
